Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how cookies, local storage and similar browser technologies may be used when you visit the Moonivory Studio website, and how you can control them.

Effective date: 24 July 2026

This document is intended to provide clear and comprehensive information. Mandatory rights under applicable law prevail over any inconsistent wording.

1. Who is responsible

The website is operated by Moonivory Studio Pty Ltd, ACN 672 491 338 and ABN 67 672 491 338, located at Level 1, 15 Shoreham Drive, Mornington, VIC 3931, Australia. References to “we”, “us” and “our” mean that entity.

This policy should be read with the Privacy Policy, which explains broader handling of personal information and privacy rights.

2. What cookies and similar technologies are

A cookie is a small text record that a website may ask a browser to store. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, cache records, pixels, software development kit identifiers and other mechanisms that remember information or communicate events. Some technologies are set by the site you visit, while others may be set by a third-party service included on the page.

Cookies may be temporary and expire when a browser session ends, or persistent and remain until their expiry date or deletion. They may support essential functions, preferences, measurement, security or advertising, depending on how a site is configured.

3. Current configuration of this website

The current website is designed to use project-local images, styles, scripts, icons and other front-end assets. It does not intentionally load third-party advertising networks, remote analytics scripts, remote social media widgets or cross-site behavioural tracking tools by default.

Basic navigation, page display and the local enquiry form do not require an advertising cookie. A browser or local web server may nevertheless create ordinary technical cache, connection, security or session records. The local address configuration is read from the project file named adress.json and is used only to display the company name and address consistently across pages.

4. Strictly necessary technologies

Strictly necessary technologies are used only where required to deliver a function requested by the visitor, maintain security, route traffic, remember a privacy choice or preserve a session. They are not used for unrelated advertising. Because they are necessary to provide the requested function, consent may not be required in jurisdictions that recognise a strictly necessary exemption, although clear information must still be provided.

Examples may include security tokens, load-balancing records, a temporary session identifier, a choice that prevents a consent notice from repeatedly appearing, or local state needed to keep a menu or form functioning. The exact technologies depend on the hosting environment used by the site owner.

5. Preference technologies

Preference technologies remember choices such as language, accessibility settings, interface state or display preferences. The current single-language website does not require a persistent preference cookie for ordinary use. If preference storage is added later, it will be limited to the stated function and documented here.

6. Analytics and performance technologies

Analytics technologies can help a site owner understand page visits, performance, errors and general usage patterns. The current front end does not intentionally include a remote analytics library. If analytics is introduced, it should be configured with data minimisation, appropriate retention, IP or identifier safeguards, and consent where required by law.

Any future analytics service that is not strictly necessary will be disclosed before use, including its purpose, provider category, retention and available controls. Where consent is the lawful basis, the technology should remain inactive until valid consent is recorded.

7. Advertising and social media technologies

Advertising cookies and social media pixels can build profiles, measure campaigns or track activity across services. Moonivory Studio does not intentionally deploy these technologies on the current local front end. Social icons displayed on the site are non-interactive visual elements and do not load remote social media content.

If advertising or embedded social content is introduced in the future, it will be treated as non-essential, identified in an updated policy and subject to any consent requirement that applies.

8. Consent and legal bases

Where GDPR or similar ePrivacy rules apply, non-essential cookies are used only after an appropriate consent signal, unless another lawful exemption applies. Consent must be freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous, and must be as easy to withdraw as to give.

Strictly necessary technologies may be used to provide a service requested by the visitor or protect the website. Information generated through a technology may also be processed where necessary for a legitimate security or operational interest, provided that interest is not overridden by the individual’s rights and the activity is permitted by applicable cookie rules.

9. How to manage browser storage

Most browsers allow you to view, block, limit or delete cookies and site data. Controls are generally available in privacy or site settings. You can also clear cached files, remove local storage for a selected site, use private browsing, or configure the browser to ask before storing certain data.

Blocking all storage may affect features on websites that need sessions or saved preferences. On the current Moonivory Studio front end, core content should remain readable without advertising or analytics cookies. Browser-specific menus and terminology change over time, so consult the help information built into your browser or device.

10. Retention

A session technology is normally removed when the browser session ends. Persistent technologies should have a defined expiry appropriate to their purpose. Security and consent records may be retained long enough to demonstrate compliance, prevent abuse or avoid repeatedly asking for the same choice, subject to applicable law.

Technical server logs are not necessarily cookies, but may be retained for limited periods for security, reliability, troubleshooting and legal obligations. Additional details appear in the Privacy Policy.

11. International processing

If a future cookie or related provider processes information outside Australia or the visitor’s country, appropriate privacy and transfer safeguards must be considered. Where GDPR applies, this may include an adequacy decision, approved contractual safeguards and supplementary measures. The current local front end is designed to reduce such dependencies.

12. Your rights

Where information linked to cookies constitutes personal data, applicable rights may include access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability and withdrawal of consent. Australian privacy rights may include access to and correction of personal information. The availability of a right depends on the law, the technology and whether the information can reasonably be linked to you.

To exercise a right, provide enough information to identify the relevant interaction without sending unnecessary sensitive data. We may need to verify identity before disclosing or changing personal information.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when technologies, providers, laws or website functions change. The effective date will be revised and material changes will be highlighted or accompanied by a renewed consent request where required. The current policy should always match the technologies actually deployed.
